Outstanding accomodation, one of the best I ever stayed in. What made it exceptional is the hospitality of the owners and their unbelievable attention to details to make your stay memorable! The accomodation itself is immaculate, like you step into a fairy tale, and feels so cozy that you never wanna leave. They dont only offer beach chairs, umbrellas and bikes for a sunny day but they even gave us sunscreen for our one beach day during our stay! Ron and Amelia, the owners and hosts are lovely people, I can only congratulate to them for running such a perfect place!

We loved everything about our stay at Waldo Emerson Inn. The staff is so welcoming and kind, they make sure you have everything you need for the best stay. A wide variety of snacks are available for free, s’mores kit, games, bikes to take into the city, coffee whenever you please. The breakfasts are homemade every morning, they are not your typical continental breakfast, you truly feel like you’re at a restaurant ! The rooms are grand and the beds comfortable. The entire Inn was extremely clean. We loved chatting with the owners at breakfast and getting their recommendations. I would go back in a heartbeat and I would highly recommend anyone to stay this wonderful place.

We really enjoyed the uniqueness and the historical associations of the inn. It is lovely to stay somewhere memorable rather than a bland hotel, where one could be anywhere. Being able to read our books by the fire, with a glass of wine, is a distinct memory! The breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed being served in the charming kitchen, and having a wide-ranging conversation with fellow guests. We felt very welcome and would happily return again.

We loved our stay at the Inn. The hosts were attentive to our needs and seemed to have thought of everything; Amelia and Ron are wonderful Inn keepers and it is evident that they enjoy what they do! The rooms were clean, well furnished and very comfortable ~ providing bathrobes in the room was a nice touch and the towels and bed linens were wonderful! Breakfast was delicious and bountiful and the service was impeccable. The common sitting areas were well stocked with provisions (beer/wine/snacks) and very inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Check-in and out was seamless.

The property was beautiful with gorgeous gardens. The rooms are quaint and comfortable. The host couple prepared an amazing breakfast every morning and catered to dietary requirements. They were so helpful and welcoming. The location of the house is convenient to both Kennebunk & Kennebunkport as well as the beaches, shops, and other small towns up the coast. New Hampshire is only about 15 minutes from the house.

Our stay at the Waldo Emerson Inn for a long weekend was wonderful, and the owners made it even more special. The Inn itself is charming a quaint with special touches all around for the guests. Our room was cozy and comfortable and the location a short drive from town. What stood out was the great hospitality from the owners- including the delicious breakfasts. Ron and Amelia were graciously accommodating of my vegan diet. With a few days notice they went above and beyond to make great and filling breakfasts, even sending me home with leftovers! I would recommend this stay for anyone with a vegan diet, or any dietary needs or allergies- you will feel well taken care of...and full. All in all, don't hesitate to book The Waldo Emerson Inn if you're looking for a charming and unique place to that will feel personal and memorable.

Everything - there was nothing not to like. The hosts were do welcoming, and the facilities as well as the little gestures such as complimentary cookies/ goodies/soft drinks were not expected but very welcomed. Loved having breakfast at the communal dining table gave us an opportunity to meet other guests. Breakfast was delicious. We would definitely visit again and recommend to friends and family. Thank you Amelia and Ron.

Stayed one night passing through Kennebunkport area. We loved Amelia! She was so hospitable and accommodating. I have a dairy allergy and she made breakfast for me that I could eat. It was delish!! Our room was lovely and the bathroom had been updated. The house was built in the 1780’s which was really amazing to experience. They even had bikes that we used to bike into town and eat dinner. Within minutes to Kennebunk and Kennebunkport.

Beautiful grounds and friendly greeting upon arrival. Owner gave orientation of facilities and welcomed our pet. Owner is very generous offering afternoon cookies, snacks and you can purchase wine or beer by honor system writing wine/beer purchase in a book. Room has window air conditioner, we had queen bed, fireplace, chairs, quaint wallpaper and small bathroom that was private. Breakfast the next morning was very good. We not only had a dog bed, but dog blanket, toy and water bowl....very sweet! BnB is just a couple of miles outside Kennebunkport and about the same to Kennebunk. Centrally located on main road. Parking was excellent and staff was super friendly and very kind.

We spent two weeks travelling around New England and this was the stand-out place we stayed. We couldn't recommend it enough. Amelia, Ron and the team made us feel so welcome. Tea and homemade cookies upon arrival. Beautifully decorated inn, with comfortable beds and all the amenities you would want. The best breakfast we had on the whole trip!
